Musim hujan tiba di Negeri Peri. Utusan dari istana peri, datang ke rumah Peri Dinda dan Novi. Ratu Peri mengundang kakak beradik peri itu ke istana. (Rainy season has arrived in Fairy Land. A representative of the palace comes to Dinda and Novi’s house. Queen Fairy is inviting the fairy siblings to the palace.)
“Maaf meminta kalian ke istana di saat cuaca buruk. Ada kejadian aneh. Mungkin kalian bisa membantu mencari penyebabnya,” kata Ratu Peri. (“I’m sorry to invite you to the castle in this bad weather. There’s something strange. Maybe you can help find the cause,” says Queen Fairy.)
Ratu Peri membawa Peri Dinda dan Novi ke ruang pertemuan yang baru dibangun di bagian Selatan istana. “Lihatlah ke bawah,” minta Ratu Peri. “Jamur!” seru Peri Dinda dan Novi bersamaan.
(Queen Fairy brings Dinda and Novi to the assembly hall that was just built in the Southern part of the palace. “Look down there,” asks Queen Fairy. “Mushroom!” shout Dinda and Novi at the same time.)
Banyak sekali jamur tumbuh di sela-sela lantai ruang pertemuan! “Aku tidak mengerti bagaimana ini bisa terjadi,” kata Ratu Peri. (There are so many mushrooms growing between the floors of the assembly hall! “I don’t know how this happened,” says Queen Fairy.)
Peri Dinda dan Peri Novi memeriksa jamur di lantai. Di ruang pertemuan itu, ada sebuah jendela besar. “Kakak, semakin mendekati jendela, jamur semakin banyak,” kata Peri Novi.
(Dinda and Novi check the mushrooms on the floor. At the assembly hall, there’s a big window. “Sister, there are more mushrooms the closer we get to the window,” says Novi.)
Peri Dinda dan Peri Novi melihat jendela besar itu. Jendela itu terbuat dari kayu dengan ukiran yang indah. Dari kayu itu tercium aroma harum. “Ini kayu dari Hutan Harum!” seru Peri Dinda kaget.
(Dinda and Novi take a look at the big window. It is made of wood with beautiful carvings. There’s a fragrant aroma coming from it. “It’s wood from the Fragrant Forest!” says Dinda surprised.)
Peri Dinda dan Peri Novi menjelaskan pada Ratu Peri mengenai Hutan Harum. Pohon-pohon di hutan itu berbau harum, membuat semua pengrajin kayu menginginkan mereka. Tapi, kejadian buruk akan menimpa jika pohon-pohon di Hutan Harum ditebang. (Dinda and Novi explain to the Queen Fairy about the Fragrant Forest. The trees in the forest are fragrant, so every carpenter wants them. But, bad things will happen if the trees from Fragrant Forest are cut.)
Ratu Peri memanggil pengrajin kayu yang membuat jendela ruang pertemuan. “Maafkan aku, Yang Mulia, aku hanya ingin membuat jendela terindah untuk istana,” kata si pengrajin ketakutan dan menyesal. (Queen Fairy summons the carpenter who made the window. “I’m sorry, Queen Fairy, I just want to make the most beautiful window for the palace,” says the carpenter, scared.)
“Tidak apa-apa. Tapi kita tidak boleh merusak Hutan Harum,” kata Ratu Peri. Si pengrajin kayu lalu mengganti kayu jendela. Peri Dinda dan Novi mengembalikan kayu harum ke Hutan Harum dan serangan jamur berhenti. (“It’s alright. But, we cannot ruin Fragrant Forest,” says Queen Fairy. The carpenter replaces the window. Dinda and Novi return the fragrant wood to Fragrant Forest and the mushroom attack stops.)
Sebagai tanda terima kasih, Ratu Peri mengajak Peri Dinda dan Novi menikmati hidangan sup lezat. “Benar-benar cocok di saat hujan!” kata Peri Dinda dan Novi bahagia. (As a token of gratitude, Queen Fairy asks Dinda and Novi to enjoy a delicious soup dish. “It’s really suitable for rainy season!” say Dinda and Novi happily.)
