Kemarau melanda kerajaan peri. Kerajaan peri terancam kelaparan. (Draught befalls the fairy kingdom. It has been weeks since the rain last fall. As a result, the garden fairies are in confusion, because their harvest will fail. The garden fairies are also sad because the flowers are withering. The honey produced is decreasing. The fairy kingdom is on the verge of starvation.)

Ratu Orchid tak mau rakyatnya kelaparan. Ia langsung memerintahkan peri Perdana Menteri Matoa untuk mendatangkan hujan. “Wahai Matoa, aku tak mau rakyatku menderita. Coba kau cari tahu apa masalahnya!” perintah Ratu Orchid. “Baiklah, Ratu,” jawab Matoa. (Queen Orchid does not want her people to star rave. He immediately orders fairy Prime Minister Matoa to summon the rain. “Dear Matoa, I do not want my people to suffer. Why don’t you find out what the problem is!” orders Queen Orchid. “Yes, my Queen,” replies Matoa.)

Matoa lantas mengunjungi kebun. Hampir semua pohon di kebun mati. “Kenapa bisa begini?” gumam Matoa. Ia juga menyaksikan kekeringan di taman kerajaan. (Matoa then visits the garden. Almost all of the trees in the garden wither. “How could this be?” mumbles Matoa. He also witnesses draught in the royal courtyard.)

Matoa bergegas memeriksa sumber mata air. “Ohh, persediaan air di kerajaan ternyata sudah mulai menipis. Aku harus tanyakan pada Peri Hujan apa penyebabnya,” ujar Matoa geram. (Matoa rushes to the water spring. “Ohh, the water supply in the kingdom is running dry. I have to ask the Rain Fairy what has happened,” says the upset Matoa.)

Ternyata, tempat tinggal Peri Hujan yang biasanya becek, terlihat kering. “Peri Hujan… Peri Hujan…,” Matoa berteriak memanggil. “Selamat sore Perdana Menteri, ada apa gerangan berkunjung ke gubukku?” tanya Peri Hujan. (Apparently, the home of the Rain Fairy that used to be wet looks dry. “Rain Fairy… Rain Fairy…,” Matoa calls shouting. “Good afternoon Prime Minister, what brings you here to my shack?” asks the Rain Fairy.)

“Apa saja yang kau kerjakan sampai kerajaan kekurangan air? Kebun dan taman kekeringan,” tanya Perdana Menteri Matoa. “Bubuk peri hamba habis. Hamba tidak bisa bekerja kalau tidak punya bubuk peri,” jelas Peri Hujan dengan nada menyesal. (“What have you been doing that the kingdom is running out of water? The garden and courtyard are dry,” asks Prime Minister Matoa. “My fairy dust is out. I could not work without the fairy dust,” explains the Rain Fairy regretfully.)

“Kenapa kau tidak meminta bubuk peri ke lumbung?” tanya Matoa kembali. “Hamba takut, karena stok bubuk peri juga menipis,” jawab Peri Hujan. (“Why didn’t you ask for the powder to the barn?” asks Matoa. “I am afraid, because the fairy dust stock is running thin,” answers the Rain Fairy.)

“Atas perintahku, sekarang juga kau ambil bubuk peri ke lumbung dan laksanakan tugasmu mendatangkan hujan ke kerajaan ini,” perintah Matoa. (“By my command, you must right now take the fairy dust in the barn and conduct your duties to bring rain to this kingdom,” orders Matoa.)

Peri Hujan segera menuju lumbung dan mengambil bubuk peri. Ia langsung menaburkan bubuk peri di langit sambil mengucap mantera. Keesokan harinya, hujan turun di kerajaan peri. (Rain Fairy heads to the barn and gathers the fairy dust. He then sparkles the fairy dust in the skies while casting a spell. The next day, rain falls in the fairy kingdom.)

“Horeee… mari kita nikmati hujan ini,” seru rakyat peri bergembira. Pepohonan di kebun kembali tumbuh. Begitu juga bunga-bunga yang mulai bermekaran. Madu dihasilkan dan bubuk peri pun bertambah banyak. Selamat datang hujan!  (“Hurray… let’s enjoy this rain,” exclaim the fairies in joy. The trees in the garden are growing back. And so do the flowers that are blooming. Honey is produced and the fairy dust is adding up. Welcome rain!)
