Cerita bermula saat para staf di tempat wisata Kastil Mountfitchet, Essex, Inggris, menemukan sembilan anak bebek yang berkeliaran tanpa induknya. Mereka kebingungan bagaimana cara mengurus anak-anak bebek tersebut.
The story started when the staff at tourist spot Mountfitchet Castle, Essex, England, found nine little ducklings without their mother. They are having a hard time finding ways to take care of the ducklings.
Tak disangka, tiba-tiba, seekor anjing jantan berusia 10 tahun muncul dan menjadi “pengasuh” kesembilan anak bebek itu. Anjing jenis labrador yang diketahui bernama Fred ini selalu berusaha untuk menjaga anak-anak bebek seperti anaknya sendiri. Tak jarang anak-anak bebek naik ke atas punggung Fred. Mereka bermain bersama dan anak-anak bebek pun merasa nyaman berada dalam dekapan Fred. Lucu, ya, Kids?
Unexpectedly, a 10-year old male dog appeared and became the foster parent of the nine ducklings. This Labrador dog named Fred always tries to take care of the ducklings like they’re his own puppies. The ducklings often go up to Fred’s back and play together because they feel comfortable being around Fred. Isn’t it cute, Kids?
Meski secara akal hewan berada di bawah manusia, tapi terkadang mereka justru menunjukkan rasa kasih sayang luar biasa bahkan walaupun mereka berbeda. Seperti halnya anjing Fred dan kesembilan anak bebek itu.
