Cerita bermula di Kanada, saat sekelompok masyarakat menemukan seekor kucing yang ternyata memiliki microchip (alat pendeteksi) di dalam tubuhnya. Alangkah terkejutnya mereka manakala mengetahui lewat chip, bahwa ternyata kucing tersebut berasal dari California, Amerika Serikat yang berada lebih dari 3.000 km jauhnya.
The story began in Canada, when a group of people found a cat with a microchip (detection device) inside its body. They are surprised to figure out from the chip that the cat was in fact coming from California, USA, a place 3,000 kilometers away.
Ternyata selama itu Booboo berkeliaran menumpang dari satu mobil ke mobil lainnya hingga akhirnya sampai di Kanada.
It turns out that Booboo had been hitchhiking from one vehicle to another, until she finally reached Canada.
Sang pemilik yang akhirnya mengetahui keberadaan Booboo, bingung bagaimana cara menjemput Booboo. Sebab, dia tidak memiliki paspor untuk masuk ke Kanada.
The owner who eventually found out of Booboo’s whereabouts was confused as how to pick Booboo up. The owner doesn’t have a passport to enter Canada.
Beruntung petugas perlindungan hewan Kanada mau membantu. Mereka pun membawa Booboo ke Buffalo, New York (di Amerika Serikat). Sementara, pemilik Booboo juga terbang ke Buffalo. Mereka pun bertemu di sana. Terjadilah pertemuan yang mengharukan antara Booboo dan sang pemiliknya.
Fortunately, Canada’s animal protective services were willing to help. They brought Booboo to Buffalo, New York in the United States. At the same time, Booboo’s owner flew up to Buffalo. The two met there. A heartfelt reunion was the sight when Booboo met with her owner.
