(The hot sun for the past few weeks in Safana town has made the townspeople easily angry. On many intersections, traffic jams often occur because the road users don’t want to give way.)
Ia selalu berusaha membuat dirinya tersenyum. (Komody, one of the townspeople of Safana, tries not to be angry. He always try to put a smile on his face.)
This afternoon, Komody has to be in his course place in one and a half hours. He pedals his bicycle easy. The traffic to the Pink intersection is stuck, and cannot be passed at all.)
Setelah dua puluh menit berlalu, Komody masih sabar menunggu macet. “Macet lagi… maceeet lagi… gara-gara si Komo lewat,” begitu isi lagunya. ( minutes have passed, and Komody still patiently waits the traffic. Suddenly, his temper gets tampered when a kid Kangaroo sings. “Traffic jam… traaafic jam… just because Komo is passing,” so says the verse.)
(“I’m not the one causing this traffic! The traffic is jammed because drivers don’t want to give way and the traffic lights are out!” says Komody emotionally in his head. Komody’s face blushes as he tries to contain his anger.)
Namun tiba-tiba, cuaca sedikit mendung. Angin yang lewat, turut menyegarkan suasana. Amarah Komody pun turun kembali. Ia segera memutar otak, bagaimana caranya agar lalu lintas di perempatan Merah Jambu bisa lancar kembali. (But suddenly, the weather gets cloudy. The breezing wind freshen everyone’s mood. Komody’s anger then subsides. He then thinks of how to get the traffic at the Pink intersection flowing again.)
(Someone has to regulate the traffic in this intersection,” says Komody as he slowly pulls over his bicycle to the curb. Not long after, Komody is standing in the middle of Pink intersection. He regulates the traffic in the intersection and not for long, the traffic is flowing.)
(“Hurray… no more traffic!” says the Kangaroo kid beside Komody. “The traffic is flowing now and the jam wasn’t caused by a passing Komo right, Kangaroo kid?” says Komody as he greets the Kangaroo kid with a smile. The Kangaroo kid then smiles in shy.)
As soon as the traffic flows, Komody resumes his journey to the course place and arrived before the course starts. Well friends, try to always think positively and be patient so that what we want can be achieved.) (Teks: Just For Kids/ Ilustrasi: Just For Kids/ Translator: Yos)
