Just like any other kids, 10-year-old girl Bethany Kuster really likes to draw and color. She thinks drawing can channel her expressions and makes her happy. But, she is sad to hear that a 4-grader in Alabama doesn’t have any crayons to draw.

Satu Kotak Krayon

Bethany is moved to do something. She then asks a favor from her school friends in Pennsylvania, USA, to gather a box of crayons to be donated. She knows that many of her friends own more than one box of crayons, so it won’t get in the way of their own drawing activities.

Akhirnya, ia mendirikan sebuah lembaga amal yang diberi nama “Color For Kids”.

It turns out that the aid raising that only involved her classmates got positive response from children around the world. Finally, she set up a charity called “Color for Kids.”

According to colorforkids.net, to this date there are at least three thousand children that have received donated crayons around the world. This figure is expected to increase as many more are donating their crayons, or money to buy them. “My dream is that every child must have their own crayons,” Bethany wrote in the website.
